Gloomrush
Gloomrush Privacy Policy
Effective 20 October 2026
On this page
This Privacy Policy explains how Gloomrush (the "game") handles information. The game is published by Mobixify LTD ("Mobixify", "we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 16138122 and its registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. We are the controller of the personal data described here under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, and under the EU GDPR where it applies to you.
The short version
- The game works fully offline. It has no account, no sign-in and no online features.
- We do not collect, receive or share any personal data from the game.
- The game has no advertising, analytics, tracking or crash-reporting service, no in-app purchases, and it does not use your device's advertising identifier.
- Your progress and settings stay on your device.
- You can ask us about your data at any time at info@mobixify.com.
Information that stays on your device
The game runs on your device and keeps its data there.
- Progress. The heroes and stages you have unlocked, your achievements, your gold and your permanent upgrades.
- Settings. Your language, volume, display options, frame-rate choice (60 FPS or the 30 FPS battery saver) and accessibility options such as damage numbers, screen shake, flashes and text size.
This data is stored in the game's private storage on your device, in a local save file and in the device's preferences store. We cannot see it and we do not receive it. It is removed when you uninstall the game. If you use a device backup such as iCloud Backup or Google's backup, it may include the game's data. That backup is yours, is covered by Apple's or Google's terms, and we cannot access it.
The game does not ask for any permission. It does not use your camera, microphone, location, contacts, photos or notifications.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, e-mail address, phone number, location or contacts, and we do not collect your device's advertising identifier or any other device identifier. The game contains no analytics, advertising, attribution or crash-reporting service, so we hold no data about how you play. It does not track you across apps or websites of other companies and does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
On Android, the game's package lists the Internet permission because the game engine adds it automatically. The game does not use the network to send or receive any data.
If you have chosen in your device settings to share diagnostics with app developers, Apple or Google may give us aggregated crash and usage statistics through their developer tools. The operating system produces them, not code in the game, and they do not identify you to us.
App stores
Apple (App Store) and Google (Google Play) process your download, and any rating, review or crash report you choose to send them, under their own terms and privacy policies. They are separate controllers of that data. See the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.
If you write to us
If you write to us, we receive your e-mail address and what you tell us. We use them only to answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in replying to you. Our mailbox is hosted by Google Workspace. Because the game sends us nothing, we use no personal data for any other purpose and make no decisions about you by automated means.
Children
The game is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. It contains fantasy violence against monsters, so please check the age rating in the store. Because the game collects no personal data, we hold no data about children. If you are a parent or guardian and have a concern, write to us at info@mobixify.com.
How long information is kept
- On your device. Information stays there until you uninstall the game or clear its storage.
- Messages to us. We keep them only as long as needed to answer you and deal with any follow-up, then delete them.
Security
The game sends no data off your device, so there is nothing in transit to protect. Your save data lives in the game's private storage, which other apps cannot read on an unmodified device.
International transfers
The game does not transfer personal data anywhere. If you write to us, your message is handled in our Google Workspace mailbox, under Google's own safeguards for international transfers.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your personal data, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict its use, and to receive a copy of it in a portable format, and you can object to our use of it. Because the game holds no personal data about you, there is normally nothing to look up beyond your correspondence with us, but you are welcome to ask. We will reply within one month. For a complex request we may take up to two further months, and we will tell you why.
If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. If you live in the EU or EEA, you can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the game collects data, we will update this page and the store listings before that version is released, and we will say so in the release notes on the store.
