Frequently asked questions

Do I need an internet connection or an account?
No. Gloomrush plays fully offline, and there is no sign-up or login.
Does the game collect my data or show ads?
No. The game has no ads, no analytics, no crash-reporting service and no in-app purchases, and it does not track you. We do not receive any personal data from it. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Where is my progress saved, and can I move it to a new phone?
Your progress and settings are saved on your device, in the game's private storage. The game has no account or cloud save, so there is no built-in transfer. Your phone's own backup (iCloud Backup or Google's backup) may restore it when you set up a new device. If you delete the game or clear its storage, your progress is lost.
How do I delete my data?
Everything the game stores is on your device, and we hold no data about you from it. Delete the game to erase it. On Android you can also clear the game's storage in the system settings. If you wrote to us and want your message deleted, email us. See the Privacy Policy for what is kept and for how long.
Why does the Android version list the Internet permission?
The game engine adds that permission automatically. The game does not use the network to send or receive any data, and it does not ask for any other permission.
How do I change the language, the frame rate or the effects?
Open the game's settings. Gloomrush is available in English and Turkish, and a phone set to another language starts in English. You can choose 60 FPS or the 30 FPS battery saver, switch damage numbers, screen shake and flashes on or off, and change the text size.
The game runs slowly or crashes.
Try the 30 FPS battery saver in the settings, close other apps and free up some storage. If the problem remains, email us with your device model, its operating system version and the game version, and tell us what you were doing.
